I’m a freelance writer with 10 years experience copy writing, editing, writing feature stories for magazines and websites, and grant writing for nonprofits.

Some of my recent projects include a Seattle Daytrips app for iPhone, iPad, and Android and a feature story on Leah Chase, famous New Orleans chef and inspiration for Princess Tiana in Disney’s Princess and the Frog. I’m currently writing a profile of a former WWII Army nurse for Louisiana Life and a piece on eating local on Vashon Island for Edible Seattle.

I also work as a grant writer, helping nonprofits across the U.S. secure funding to provide critical services to those in need. I thrive when I have a range of challenging projects, and, yes, I actually like grant writing!
